Peace, A Major Conflict: A First Hand Account

I interviewed a veteran from the Isreal Defense Forces (IDF) who was stationed in northern regions of Isreal. The veteran was a chief medic and had his own unit within the army for treating individuals in a relatively peaceful area. I asked him questions surrounding the war, media outlook and overall state of the region he was stationed in. He continues to talk about his best, worst, and most memorable experiences from his three and a half years of service. He discusses how both sides of the conflict lay down all differences when it came to saving people and it offers real insight into how the issue truly pans out in reality. We end the interview discussing media portrayal of the issues and various discrepancies between reality and the media's story. Some information has been redacted and not discussed as per the request of the interviewee.
